A Textbook of Special Functions in Mathematics has been designed for the students of M.A./M.Sc. (Mathematics) and M.Phil. (Mathematics) of various Indian universities. It covers the syallabi of Linear Integral Equations. It is also useful for the students appearing in various competitive examinations. The content of the book is divided into nine chapters.

Each chapter begins with a clear statement of pertinent definitions, theorems with proofs followed by different methods employed for getting solutions of integral equations of different types.
