'Aspects of Materials Handling' aims at making undergraduate and postgraduate students of mechanical and production engineering aware of materials handling equipment and its related aspects. This book has been written in a such a way that even the industrial persons involved in the handling of any type of equipment will definitely get help from this book. Although material handling is very vast and versatile area of study; as far as possible, we have tried to cover all the areas of material handling. This book gives the impression that it is divided in few sections but it is not. Major portion of this book covers three most important handling equipments viz cranes, conveyors and trucks.
