They were the backbone of the states and dealt with many crucial issues, they are synonym of strength, fearlessness and balance. The book has very well mentioned about the women of Rajasthan. Be it before Independence or the changing role after the Independence. The author has touched upon the issues prevailing during the pre-independence time as well as post-independence period needs to be appreciated
