modular structure: each module consists of three short lessons and four additional module plus pages

- the lessons each comprise four pages and follow a transparent, recurring structure:
- each lesson begins with an interesting introductory situation - usually combined with an audio text -, which introduces the topic of the lesson and arouses emotions and interest
- on the following double page, based on the initial situation, the new word fields, structures and expressions are introduced and practiced using authentic reading and listening texts
- the new word field of the lesson is introduced in the header prominently and easily memorized as an image lexicon

- Reading magazine: Magazine page with a variety of additional reading texts
- Film stations: Tasks for the film sequences

- Conclusion: songs with tips for creative use in the classroom
