Tree Top is a course that endeavours to create independent learners for the 21st century, who can learn, unlearn and re-learn. The Coursebooks aim at developing the learners’ language skills and the Companion Books recapitulate and reinforce the concepts learnt in the Coursebooks through drill and practice. The course also aims to develop higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The Teacher’s Resource Books, at each level, offer guidance to assess the students on various parameters. Through the Coursebooks, the students practise using language within a literal communicative context where real information is exchanged; where the language used is not totally predictable. The Coursebooks are multicultural, multi-thematic, and multi-genre.
