M.Pratap Rao is a well-qualified practising architect-planner, working at Hyderabad Telangana state with thirty years experience in the filed of architecture and urban planning. He & nbsp; obtained bachelors degree in architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru technological university, Hyderabad in 1977 and master s degree in urban and regional planning with fist rank and gold medal from university of Mysore, my sore in 1981. he was given research award for excellence in acritude by Indian institute of architects in architects in 1991 Vaastu Shilpa foundation fellowship, Ahmedabad 1995 and sir m Visvesvaraya prize of hunch for disaster resistant housing 1999. he participated and presented research papers in various seminars and published six books and several articles in architecture and urban planning journals. he is an associate member of India instituter of architects, instituted of town planners India and institute of India interior designers.
