Laxmi Learning Planet Computer Textbook for Class 5

In today's world, life without computers is impossible. It is becoming increasingly important for people to master computers in all aspects. This series has been designed to ensure that children begin to learn all the different aspects of computers from an early age.

The series from Classes 1 to 5 has been specially created keeping in mind the children' abilities and progression of interest. Right from learning about the basic hardware at the younger classes, to learning software's as they grow, the books encompass all the aspects of this hugely interesting and relevant topic.

In keeping with the NCERT guidelines of life skills, the books have been created to also expose children to these life skills. With a focus on doing by learning, there are adequate activities interspersed through the book, so that concepts learned are practiced and internalised.

The series follows an activity-based approach which help students reinforce learning through practice.

Children are kept engaged by a fun mascot USBee who guides them through the book. The Learning Planet series is preceded by the Learning World series of pre-primary books, making the entire series a seamless progression of learning.
