The course contents of the book entitled 'Strength of Materials' have been planned in such a way that the book covers the complete course of second year students of U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. Unit V :   Curved Beams and Unsymmetrical Bending.
The U.P. Tech. University Exam paper for 2009-2010 has been included with solution at the end of the book.
The book has been written in a simple and easy-to-follow language, so that even an average student can grasp the subject by self-study. At the end of each chapter highlights, theoretical questions and many unsolved numerical problems with answers have been given for the students to solve them.
