'Momo' is in the phonetic script Hiragana. The other Japanese phonetic script Katakana is also introduced Tor the purpose of rccognilion by the Students.
A few basic pictorial scripts or Chinese characters iKtinji) arc also introduced towards the cni of ihe book so that siudents may gain familiarity with them before they start studying Kanji in Class VIII. The lessons are in the form of conversations. After each conversation, an explanatory passage is given for comprehension and reading practice. After completion of each lesson, students are advised to revise the patterns and vocabulary introduced in the lesson by doing the exercises given in the exercise book. A glossary of words and patterns that are introduced in book is appended in the end.
