Morning Star Treasure Trove - A Collection of Poems and Short Stories Volume 2 Workbook (Short Stories)

It is meant to introduce students to the 10 short stories prescribed for the ICSE Examination. It has been written in a simple language to arouse students’ interest, enhance their comprehension skills, knowledge and appreciation of literature and provide thought provoking discussion and writing ability. The stories are dealt with under nine heads. Each story has an introductory note on the author and the story in particular. This is followed by the plot of the story, the title, characterization, themes, setting, style, critical appreciation and detailed notes. At the end of each story, questions are given to test the students’ comprehension skills. Specimen Papers at the end of the book are meant for revision and recapitulation.
