Sapling is a new Environmental Studies series for grades1-5.

The series adheres to the guidelines prescribed by the NCF 2005. The objective of the series is to introduce the learners to the vital concepts of Environmental Studies interactive and engaging manner. It tries to inculcate awareness about different environmental and global concerns in the learners.

• Let's find out/ Discovering on the way: Research-based questions that enable the learners to reason, question, observe, investigate and conclude.

• Think it over/ Let's brainstorm: Discussion-based question to make the learners think, analyze and reflect on different problems.
• Being responsible: Value-based activities or exercises to enhance the social and emotional acumen of the learner.
