Numerical Methods for Engineers (with programs in MATLAB)

The book has been designed with the primary goal of providing students with a sound introduction of numerical methods and making the learning a pleasurable experience. The content in the book is arranged in a very logical manner with clarity in presentation. The book includes numerous examples which aid the students become more and more proficient in applying the method. A salient feature of the book is computer programs written in C++ and also in MATLAB. I have made conscious efforts to make the book student friendly. I hope the students would find the book engaging and helpful. Sincere efforts have been made to eliminate printing errors and other mistakes, but perfection cannot be claimed.
