Vishal Panoramic Indian Painting for Class 12th by R.C Luthera

Students who love to paint and eagerly wait for art /activity period can rejoice now that Painting-049 has been made an elective subject for Classes9th and 10th. It is a very thoughtful step by the authorities to take off undue pressure from the students who are not able to cope up with it to be a significant part of the teaching-learning process.

Painting has been formally divided into theory includes the art basics with some emphasis on methods, materials used in painting and some on glimpses of masterpieces from Indian art History. They all form a good base for students who want to take up the subject at the senior secondary level and later in college as their career. Here I would like to take an opportunity to request the officials who frame the syllabus to give clear details of artworks to be covered in "Story of art" (Unit-III) so that the students and teachers can have a better view as to what to expect in the board exam and prepare accordingly.
